SHAPE A link that books a call

Sometimes you just want a link that makes a meeting.

No deposit, no price list, no counter. Share a link, someone picks a time, and a video call appears in both calendars. That is the whole job, and it should not require a plan with a stock cupboard in it.

A consultant in a meeting

Not you? If money changes hands at the appointment, or people other than you deliver the work, the rest of the software starts earning its place.

For teams

09:12 What actually matters

Four things that decide whether this fits.

A link, and a meeting appears

Connect Google Meet or Zoom once. Every booking that follows gets its own call link, in the confirmation and in both calendars.

Your real calendar, both ways

Google or Outlook. Anything already in your calendar blocks the slot, and anything booked here appears there — so a link never sells a time you are in a meeting.

Buffers and notice

Ten minutes between calls, no bookings inside two hours, nothing more than a month out. Rules a link needs and a calendar does not have.

Charge for it, if you want to

A paid consultation is the same booking with a price on it. Most people here never switch it on — but it is a field rather than a different product.

01 This is the job Calendly does well

And we will say so: for one person putting a link in an email so somebody can pick a slot in their calendar, Calendly is excellent, and it is what most people should use.

The reason to use this instead is that the same link sits beside the rest of a business — several people with different hours, a service that costs money, a deposit, an invoice afterwards. If you will never need any of that, you are not the person this page is trying to convince.

03 Several kinds of call

A fifteen-minute intro, a one-hour review, a paid ninety-minute session. Each is a service with its own length, its own buffer and its own price, and the link can open on one of them or let the visitor choose.

Different lengths of the same conversation are durations of one service rather than three near-identical copies — so changing what it costs is one edit.

Questions

Does it create a Zoom or Meet link automatically?
Yes. Connect Google Meet or Zoom once, and every booking gets its own link in the confirmation and in both calendars. A reschedule keeps the same link rather than invalidating one you have already emailed.
Will it read my existing calendar?
Both ways, with Google or Outlook. Anything already in your calendar blocks the time, and anything booked here appears there.
Can I have several different meeting lengths?
Yes — as separate services, or as durations of one service when it is the same conversation at three lengths.
Is this free?
The free plan covers a booking page, the calendar link and confirmations. Paid plans are for the parts a meeting link does not need.
How is it different from Calendly?
For a link that books a call, barely — and we say so on the comparison page. The difference shows up when money changes hands at the appointment or several people deliver the work.
